This small
website provides two specific calculation tools for those who work in publishing
and printing.
These calculators come from the Paperman
Management Product PAPERMAN.
Calculator enables the user to specify the size of the document to be printed
the grammage of paper and the paper dimensions plus any agreed wastage.
This routine will also display how the document will lay on the press
indicating how well you have utilised the paper available. The important figure to look at
is "Utilisation" - it should be greater than 90%.
Sheets/Tonnes enables the user to convert tonnes to sheets equivalent and
also to convert price per tonne to price per 1,000
